How to use the point of sale

  1. Sales Verification

    • Ensure all registered sales are marked as paid
    • Confirm all orders have been delivered to the customer
    • Verify there are no pending transactions in the system
  2. Access to Main Menu

    • Go to the menu button located in the upper right corner of the point of sale
    • Select the "Close Cash Register Session" option from the dropdown menu
  3. Closing Confirmation

    • The system will display a confirmation message with the sales summary
    • Press the "Confirm Closing" button to proceed
  4. Closing Receipt

    • The system will automatically generate a detailed PDF report
    • The document will be sent to the administrator's registered email
    • A success message will appear on screen with the closing transaction number

Data included in the PDF report:

  • Date and time of closing
  • Total sales for the shift
  • Breakdown by payment methods (cash, card, transfer)
  • Number of processed transactions
  • Detail of special movements (discounts, cancellations)

Important considerations:

⚠️ The system will not allow closing if there are unpaid sales
⚠️ This process definitively closes the current shift - no more sales can be registered after closing
⚠️ Always save the received PDF as accounting backup
